Sometime ago we posted that we are going to come up with IOS application and yes we are working on it, we were trying to hire programmers but didn't get much success, now we have decided another service provider who is into Radio streaming business and have been selling Radio player applications from quiet a decent time, we shall keep you informed, probably next month or so Srila Prabhupada live Radio will be available on Apple. Haribol!

From Srimad-Bhagavatam (1.18.10):

"Those who are desirous of achieving complete perfection in life should submissively hear all topics connected with the transcendental activities and qualities of Krsna, for this will open the path to a life of eternal bliss and knowledge..

"PURPORT: The systematic hearing of the transcendental activities, qualities, and names of Lord Sri Krishna pushes one towards eternal life. Systematic hearing means knowing Him gradually in truth and fact, and this knowing Him in truth and fact means attaining eternal life. . . .

"Hearing about Krishna is incredibly potent because it pleases Him, and when He's pleased, our lives are successful."

As Srila Prabhupada said, "What more could you want?"

Hearing from a pure devotee of Krishna is the potent method of advancing in Krishna consciousness. Without hearing from a pure devotee of Krishna it is not possible to advance in Krishna consciousness.

To develop love for Krishna we have to know Krishna, and to know Krishna we have to hear about Krishna from someone who knows about Krishna. And only Krishna's pure devotees know about him in Truth. 

Hearing process is very simple, one just needs to lend his ears with little attention to the sound vibration uttered by a pure devotee, that's all and this hearing process will start acting upon us, the visible result would be that all unwanted things within our heart like Lust, Anger, Greed, Fear, Envy, Illusion will be all cleansed and our dormant love for the Supreme Lord Sri Krishna will manifest.   

So we request you all to start a regular program of hearing from a pure devotee, Srila Prabhupada every day.

This month on Vyasa Puja day, we completed 1 year of service of broadcast. 

Initially, when we started, the purpose of starting this Radio was to listen on our own from Srila Prabhupada as much as possible, anywhere and everywhere and raise our consciousness, then later it stroked us why not we hear and simultaneously invite all others to hear and get influenced from His Divine Grace's vani. 

We pray to Srila Prabhupada that he bless his Grace upon all listeners so that we all develop unflinching faith in his words and serve him and his mission in whatever capacity we can and thus make our life perfect.

Listener statistics for July'2015

All Glories to Srila Prabhupada,

We hope you are all enjoying listening to Srila Prabhupada. The tapes we play on the radio has the potency to change the heart of anyone be it the most fallen and to those who are familiar to hearing these tapes earlier can relish and derive newer mellows.

We bring you every month the records of the activity happening on the Radio, here it is for the month of July'2015.

This time we could reach to many more devotees, unique listeners have grown past 1000 mark a month and listener sessions opened this month are at all time high, a big Haribol to listeners from UK, there we have recorded a significant jump in listening hours and we are witnessing a lot of activity from Australia as well.

In our last post we informed you that we are going to update our Audio archives with the latest media, so at present we have updated most of our media and we will complete the updation this week, however the Radio will not have any stoppage due to that.

Another thing is that very soon we all can listen to Srila Prabhupada live Radio on Apple iphone. We are working on it and lets see by Lord's grace how quickly we can finish this off.
